If you keep things to yourself, fine. But you never know what another person is thinking if you cannot ask them and communicate to them. Communication is the universal solvent of all things between people. But the trick is to communicate in such a way that if the other person was you, you could accept it. The other down side is that if you leave things unsaid, it breeds hostilities and things cannot get resolved. Then sometimes they brood and later become explosive when it is too late.
